We're hiring Cable Technicians to support large-scale data center and technology infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with construction, structured cabling, mechanical, electrical, or general labor experience who are looking to build a career in the growing data center industry.

• Pull, route, and organize fiber optic and structured cabling systems
• Assemble and install server racks, cable trays, and support infrastructure
• Read and follow blueprints, construction prints, and project documentation
• Use hand and power tools to install and mount equipment
• Dress and secure fiber optic and network cabling
• Assist with inventory management, material movement, and equipment staging
• Install servers, switches, and related technology equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all PPE, quality, and safety requirements
• Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
• Construction, structured cabling, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on active construction sites
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE

• Structured cabling installation
• Cat5, Cat6, or fiber optic cabling
• Construction trades experience
• Data center environments
• Electrical, carpentry, or utility construction experience
• Telecommunications or low-voltage installation
• Server rack installation and cable management

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
